The Factions

Rise of factions includes 3 factions :

  • The Meiyo

  • The Angelic Army

  • The Night Stalkers

These factions are fighting to take control of the city of Reiwa and its wealth

The Meiyo clan originating from the Northern regions of Reiwa.

They are a class of Samurai who lived by the honourable code of Bushido and shielded themselves from the deceit & treachery of the Samurai court, which was dominated by their eastern and western neighbors.

As darkness fell in the region and their existence was threatened, the honourable Meiyo clan decided to fight for the honour of JCorpZ and bring the light to dark times. They swore to help the Emperor regain control of the he Samurai court and restore the codes virtues.

After the escape from Ancient Japan into the Mountains, The Kiyoko people found peace and tranquillity on the Western side of what is now the City of Reiwa.

Kiyoko Elders made it their duty to preserve and teach the people the “Nin” code. Shinobi scouts were trained at the age of 10, and drafted by Family to join The Angelic Army.

Acceptance into the Army Brotherhood is the Ultimate Acheivement and life long goal for the Kiyoko people. Decades past and Reiwas resources began to be restricted and claimed by hostile gangs and tyrants.

But the Land in the Army District was more fertile than anywhere in Reiwa and it was well known. The Kiyoko people were kind to ration out the first fruits when harvesting until the day of the Great Fire.

The Devious tribes from the North set Outlying farms and villages ablaze, forcing the Kiyoko people to Build Walls and The Angelic Army to take offense.

The Fire set a fire in the Kiyoko people that put the City on Edge. The Swords of the Angelic Army continue to comb the Land searching for those Responsible. They will not be stopped until Justice is served.

The founder and now colonel of the Night Stalkers faction was originally from a very remote village to the east of Reiwa. His family was of very humble origins but they were happy.

They were rather neutral in the whole dark vs light balance because their remote location made them separate from most of those issues. As a child the founder was actually afraid of the dark and what could be lurking within, he had a slight preference for the light.

However, one day a wandering clan of so called “fire warriors” came across his village. They claimed that their goal was to bring light to every corner of the world by setting it all ablaze.

They said that there could be no darkness if there was fire everywhere, so they raided, pillaged and burned the village to the ground. The future Colonel found an old abandoned mine and hid there for 3 days until he was sure that the fire warriors had moved on.

He was the only survivor from his village. While he was hiding he had to learn how to embrace the darkness and the creatures that lived in it. He watched how the bats used the darkness to their advantage and he began to try to teach himself how to do the same.

His traumatizing experiencing with a group of fire crazed “light followers” and his time hiding amongst the darkness creatures are what taught him that “dark does not always mean evil, just like light does not always mean good.”

So he made it his goal to find others like him who were willing to embrace the darkness in order to maintain the balance between dark and light because too much of either thing could have disastrous consequences. So he set out to find like minded people.

The members of his faction come from a wide variety of backgrounds, ethnicities, genders, ages, etc. They do not care about any of that stuff, just that you are committed to embracing the darkness to maintain the balance.
